On October 26, 2025, Shorelines of Hope hosted a successful fundraising event that brought together friends, family, sponsors, and supporters to celebrate and share our vision. The evening marked an important milestone as we proudly reached our fundraising goal, allowing us to take meaningful steps toward building Shoreline Adventure Centers—an inclusive, mission-driven campground designed to serve people of all ages and backgrounds.
The event highlighted many of the core elements that will define the campground experience. Architectural firm 3SIX0 showcased detailed renderings of the planned campground buildings, giving guests a tangible look at what’s ahead. Attendees also learned about our agricultural programming from our Agricultural Advisor, who shared plans for hands-on farming education and sustainability initiatives. Adding to the warmth of the evening, two pet therapy dogs mingled with guests, demonstrating the calming and joyful impact of animal-assisted programs.
Founder, Melissa Cullen opened the event by sharing her passion and vision for an all-inclusive campground that welcomes children, veterans, seniors, and the LGBTQ+ community. Board members followed by speaking about the programs they are most passionate about and how they will support our mission. The evening also featured three guest speakers, who took the podium and highlighted their passions. With raffles, meaningful conversations, and generous support from our donors and sponsors, the event was a memorable and uplifting success for all involved.
